SEDIMENTATION UNIT WITH CHEMICAL LAMELLA

It is a unit in which water entrance to the treatment system, coagulation, floatation and sedimentation sections exist. Polymer is added to the unit’s entrance for coagulation and floatation formation. There is a lamella module in the unit for surface preparation and ensuring rapid flock settlement. Some of the flocks are fed to the unit entrance through a pump to use the polymer inside the flocks. The rest of the sludge is removed from the system.

ADSORPTION CLARIFICATION SECTION

A high-density polymer floats in this unit. It is ensured that the flocks floating in water are caught when they pass through the polymer with the help of a coagulant matter during water passage fed from the bottom with pump pressure. Reverse washing is applied with air and pressure water to solve the accumulated flock layer. The reverse washing process is applied depending on time and pressure in the unit.

MIXED BED FILTRATION UNIT

The multi-layer sand bed is composed of anthracite coal and garnet. Water sluiced from upside into the unit is kept at a certain level. Water passes through the bed material at a constant speed to be directed to the exit by the nozzle plate. To remove solid materials deposited on the filter bed, reverse washing is applied with air and pressure water. Reverse washing process is applied depending on time, water level and effluent’s turbidity.

LAMELLA MODULE

It makes the tank volume smaller due to the surface that it creates. It ensures that the flocks in the water attach to each other and it encourages efficiency of sedimentation.

HIGH DENSITY POLYMER

The small granular polymer absorbs small organic matters that cannot be precipitated in the lamella module. The polymer creates a large surface area in the unit because of its small granular structure and it ensures high efficiency. There is no need for more coagulant use to reduce the settlement time because it is not important.

MIXED BED

A mixed bed is created with granular materials depending on granule size and specific density. It includes three different types of silica sand from coarse to fine, garnet and anthracite coal. Due to this structure, it ensures high quality filtration.
